Draft Local Plan Map and Sites Details for Langdon published May 2020
Dover District Council is in the process of producing a new Local Plan which sets out planning policies and proposals for new development in the District over the period from 2020 to 2040. Once adopted, the Local Plan will replace the current suite of Development Plan documents. The Council has a legal duty to consult residents and businesses at several stages during the Local Plan timetable. The parish council will respond to the Local Plan process at every consultation stage and we encourage all residents to consider the proposals and make their views known. The first public consultation is expected end of 2020 or early 2021.
Background information can be found on the map and the accompanying spreadsheet shows the details of the 7 submitted sites for Langdon with the suitability assessment criteria. The full Local Plan process is explained on the Dover District Council website. You are welcome to discuss any aspect of the draft proposals with the parish council.
