Langdon Parish is planning a street party on Sunday 5th June as part of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.  All parishioners are invited.

Starting at 11.15am on East Langdon village green, the celebrations will begin with a thanksgiving public open-air service, followed by an afternoon of community events and the “Big Lunch” at Langdon Playing Field.  The events will include a magician show, fancy dress competitions, disco, games stalls and tug-o’-war challenge.

The parish council is committed fully to the event and wishes to give every child under 16 in the parish a free commemorative mug as a souvenir.

To help us order the right quantity of mugs, we invite you to register your child’s name by 25th April using the form below or by email.  Additional commemoration mugs can be ordered for £6 each.

This is a unique national event which we feel should be celebrated so please join us!
