The parish is obliged to hold an annual meeting at which local residents can receive reports and ask questions of the parish council. This is not a parish council meeting although the parish council chairman normally calls and chairs the meeting. It is an informal community event where local organisations are invited to make presentations and meet with other parishioners. The guest speaker for the evening will be announced nearer the time. Formal minutes of the APM are taken by the parish clerk and kept separate from the parish council proceedings. See the parish council website or notice boards for announcements.
